he calls them new lifeforms but for that they lack ability to reproduce and self-repair. anyway quite a fascinating mechanism.

no. i'm not spending my day on youtube - just had a glance of this on bbc - they did have a much better video. This is one thing Liverpool has spent money (£450k) for their "European Capital Of Culture 2008".

so.. how does he do that? oh.. and who is the designer? [click, click: Hussein Chalayan - Spring Summer 2007]

Paris, 4 October 2006 -- Hussein Chalayan continues to view the world as a research laboratory but with an added hint of the supernatural. The dresses, fluid and light, sometimes responding to the geometric criteria and at other times presenting Swarovski crystals, are evidence of impeccably mastered and detailed work. And to bring the catwalk to a close, the designer proposes a 'Return to the Future' with dresses that transform themselves, as if by magic, amid the amused and stunned spectators.

David Lynch
Born in Montana in 1946, David Lynch spent most of his childhood sketching and painting. In 1965, he went on to study fine arts at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, where his passion for the moving image was stirred: working alone in his studio, he saw a soft wind gently move the objects stuck onto the canvas before him, and six months later, his first experimental short film was completed. This gave birth to one of the world’s most treasured filmmakers, and the youngest director to receive the Venice Film Festival’s Golden Lion for lifetime achievement, awarded in September 2006 after the premiere of his new film, INLAND EMPIRE (2006). Throughout his career, Lynch has actively continued painting, photographing, and drawing, and has even broadened his artistic practice to include animation, music composition, and sound production.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Movie is maybe a "not for everyone" matter in a Herman Hesse way.

Turning her back on her wealthy, established family, Diane Arbus (Kidman) falls in with Lionel Sweeney (Downey Jr.), an enigmatic mentor who introduces Arbus to the marginalized people who help her become one of the most revered photographers of the twentieth century.

Rabbit. Coniglio Gigante
The things one finds wandering in a landscape: familiar things and utterly unknown, like a flower one has never seen before, or, as Columbus discovered, an inexplicable continent;
and then, behind a hill, as if knitted by giant grandmothers, lies this vast rabbit, to make you feel as small as a daisy.
The toilet-paper-pink creature lies on its back: a rabbit-mountain like Gulliver in Lilliput. Happy you feel as you climb up along its ears, almost falling into its cavernous mouth, to the belly-summit and look out over the pink woolen landscape of the rabbitís body, a country dropped from the sky;
ears and limbs sneaking into the distance; from its side flowing heart, liver and
intestines.
Happily in love you step down the decaying corpse, through the wound, now small like a maggot, over woolen kidney and bowel.
Happy you leave like the larva that gets its wings from an innocent carcass at the roadside.
Such is the happiness which made this rabbit.
i love the rabbit the rabbit loves me.

local weather affecting music video.. music itself kinda gay, need a good cpu to handle the flash..

[quote]
The Unseen Video is much more than a normal, static music video. It is a video that is affected by the weather and local time from the position of the viewer.

We want to create new synergies between the music, the video and the surroundings of the viewer. Every little change in your environment ensures that you will never see the same video twice. The look of the video might slightly change within an hour, but will have a whole new character in a few months.

pask metu taip vis prabegdavau pro shita svetaine, bet ryskiai siandien apturejau kokia tai special diena ir uzmeciau aki i 'apie'ka. surprise surprise - huz behaind it! pukomuko :: juozas šalna
-- tokis diadule, kurio dviratis ant katedros aikstes man jeansa
suupgreidino praeita vasara. aniwej, kul projektukas ir kiek zinau
susisedejes communitis.

epas.
