4MP, 3x zoom, 1.8" LCD, 10Mb built-in, ciggie pack size.
$349.95 [mar'04]
Could be I'm still hyped, but this is the best ultra-tiny-compact camera I've held.
So far, the only feature I've found somewhat weaker than elph's - focusing control, it gives yuo only 1 focusing square while ELPH 550 has 7x7 pattern.
[actual size]
- there's no 30sec limit for video, I wonder if it's 53secs now though (have to wait till I get my SD card)
- quite easy/intuitive controls with tons of features
- 20 preprogrammed shooting modes including: night scene, [self]portrait, surf/snow, lyle's lunch, marina (under water i assume), 8 color filters and 3D mode (you get to take 2 pics side by side)
- comes with (my favourite) ACDSee software too.
Anyway, the most bang per cubic mm on the market! don't have an altoids box, but it does fit in a cigarette pack.
